Welcome to Evelyn Bakes & Co.
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Evelyn Bakes & Co. is a home-based baking business offering made-to-order treats and baked goods. All products are baked in a home kitchen not subject to inspection by the Department of Health.

**** Rush Order Policy ****

Rush orders are accepted based on availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.

All rush orders require full payment upfront before the order is added to my schedule. 

Production will not begin until payment has been received and cleared.

Because rush orders require immediate scheduling, ingredient preparation, and priority production, all rush order payments are non-refundable once the order is confirmed.

Payments must be made through a secure invoice or approved payment method. For safety, I do not accept card numbers by text, email, DM, or phone.

For pickup orders, the customer must provide the pickup person’s full name, phone number, and preferred pickup window in writing before the order is started.

If Evelyn Bakes & Co. is unable to fulfill the order for any reason, a refund will be issued back to the original payment method.

By submitting payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to Evelyn Bakes & Co.’s rush order policy, including the full payment requirement, non-refundable payment terms, pickup requirements, and all other terms listed above. 

• All orders must be paid in advance to secure your spot on my baking schedule. Orders are not confirmed until payment or deposit has been received.
• For orders under $50, full payment is required at the time of ordering.
• For orders over $50, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of pickup or delivery.
• Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, cash, and credit card. Credit card payments may be subject to applicable local sales tax or processing fees.
• Because all baked goods are made fresh, custom, and in small batches, all sales are final once the order has been started or completed.
   

• Cancellations must be made at least 5 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date.
• Deposits are non-refundable. If proper notice is given, the deposit may be applied toward a future order at the discretion of Evelyn Bakes & Co.
• Cancellations made less than 5 days before the scheduled order date are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
• Once ingredients have been purchased, custom supplies have been ordered, or production has started, payments are non-refundable.
   

• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date.
• Deposits are non-refundable. However, if enough notice is given, I may be able to apply the deposit toward a future order at my discretion.
• Cancellations made less than 5 days before the order date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

• Pickup times must be respected. If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible.
• Orders not picked up within the agreed pickup window may be considered abandoned and are not eligible for a refund. Perishable items will not be held indefinitely.

• Refunds are not given for personal taste preferences, missed pickups, incorrect storage after pickup, or changes requested after the order is completed.
• If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with photos and a description of the concern. I will review the issue and determine whether a replacement, partial credit, or other solution is appropriate.

• Evelyn Bakes & Co. is a home-based cottage food bakery. My kitchen uses common allergens including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame.
• Although I follow safe food handling practices, my kitchen is not allergen-free and cross-contact may occur. Customers with severe allergies should contact me before ordering.
• Gluten-free friendly items are available, but they are prepared in a kitchen that also processes wheat flour and gluten-containing ingredients. These items are not recommended for customers with celiac disease or severe gluten allergies and are not certified gluten-free.

I reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.

Deposits, custom work, special-order ingredients, and completed perishable items may remain non-refundable.
